Nicodemus Tessin d.y. var en af barokkens store arkitekter i Sverige. Leben. Nicodemus Tessin wurde in Stralsund geboren und kam als Jüngling nach Schweden, wo er zuerst als Festungsingenieur arbeitete. Im Kontakt mit dem Architekten Simon de la Vallée bekam er seine erste Architekturausbildung, nach dessen Tod arbeitete er auch mit dem Sohn Jean de la Vallée weiter zusammen. Carl Gustaf Tessin, 5 september 1695 - 7 januari 1770, greve, statsman, konstfrämjare, son till arkitekten Nicodemus Tessin d.y.
